Dot needs David's help again, this time to save her friends from Cyblin Lord’s suspicious birthday party, maleficently planned by himself. A brand new and unique adventure made for the Holoride platform, Pixel Ripped 1995: On the Road adds a new twist to the classic 2D-platformer as it takes place in a real car!

About the experience

In this spin-off of the classic VR game Pixel Ripped 1995, David’s parents decide to go for a road trip to visit his grandmother before Christmas day. However, what seems to be the perfect moment for some family bonding is soon overshadowed by Cyblin Lord in an attempt to stop Dot from rescuing her Game Dimension friends, kidnapped by him for his own... birthday party?! With Dot’s help and the Gear Kid in hands, David will have to reach the tallest platforms while fighting against suspiciously familiar enemies until the very last friend has been rescued.

Made for the holoride Platform, Pixel Ripped 1995: On the Road follows the already established 2D Platformer structure from the Pixel Ripped series and adds a twist to it by having the movements produced by the real car affect the game, thus creating a challenging yet engaging gameplay! In it, David must unlock different cartridges using his newly acquired Gear Kid Color to save each of Dot's friends, until a glitch occurs and the game characters pop out to David’s reality. Also filled with quintessential road trip tropes that combine the best of both the Human and Game Worlds, such as I spy with my little eye, and sing along, the game offers a distinct perspective on a VR classic.
